Yes. The free tier is permanently free: one petition of your own, three custom templates, and up to 200 signatures per petition - with the full offline feature set and PDF export, without an account.
When do I pay at all?
Only when you need online sync or more capacity. As long as you work offline, everything is unlimited and free. You pay for scale, not for the calendar.
One-time purchase or subscription - what is the difference?
The Campaign license is a one-time purchase per campaign with a 12-month term and online sync via servers in the EU (Germany). Offline Pro, by contrast, is a subscription from 2,69 €/month that removes all local limits - with 20 % off when billed annually.
Do I need Offline Pro in addition to the Campaign license?
No. Offline is unlimited on all paid tiers - the Campaign license also removes the local limits. Offline Pro only makes sense if you want to work permanently without online sync and still collect locally without limits.
What counts as one campaign?
One petition with online sync within the 12-month window. The license therefore applies to exactly one cause - including the booked device and entry capacity, which accumulates over the term and is never reset.
Are my signatures ever online?
Only if you actively book online sync - otherwise never. Without sync, all entries remain local on your device and leave it only as protected PDF pages generated by the device. QR codes and .petiform files also never contain collected personal data.
What happens after the Campaign license expires?
After the 12 months, you have 30 days to export your data. After that, it is archived or deleted. Your locally collected signatures remain untouched on the device.
Can I host PetiForm myself?
Yes, on the "Organization" tier. Instead of using the EU server location, you can run a Docker image yourself - with a 20 % discount and full data sovereignty. This is intended for volumes from around 1 million entries or 100+ devices, including support and SLA.
